About Us
Islamic Dental Association of Malaysia (IDAM)
IDAM stands for Islamic Dental Association of Malaysia, as well as its motto, llmu, Da’wah, Amal, iMan. Started from just an idea discussed in a WhatsApp group among friends within the dentistry community, IDAM was subsequently formed with the initiation by Dr Yuszry Bin Yusop. A meeting was held soon after by the founding members in order to create a pro-tem committee.
IDAM was officially registered with the Registry of Societies Malaysia (ROS) on 29th April 2015. The first pro-tem meeting was then held on 17th May 2015 at myDENTIST@ampang to discuss and decide on matters regarding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and to amend the Association’s constitution.
The Association’s first AGM was organised on 28th June 2015 at Sekolah Rendah lslam Al-Ainani in Klang, with 35 members in attendance.
